How the agent gets built

Orqana takes a written brief and assembles the agent: instructions, tool access, escalation rules and logging. If you prefer assembling steps and triggers yourself in a visual builder, that's an argument for a flow-first tool rather than against it — pick the model that matches who maintains the agent.

Review before action

Orqana treats write actions as approval-gated by default: drafting is automatic, sending and record changes can require a human. If your evaluation includes any customer-facing or financial action, test that path first on both tools.

Where the agent runs

Orqana offers offline and self-hosted runs so agents can execute on your hardware with no outbound inference calls — relevant for regulated, air-gapped or travel-heavy teams. Cloud-only platforms can't match that regardless of their security posture.

Honest comparison advice

We won't publish a feature matrix of a competitor's product from the outside — those go stale and usually flatter whoever wrote them. Run the same brief on both: measure setup time, how often you correct the agent in week one, and what happens when it hits something it wasn't told about.

Integration reality check

Ask both vendors which integrations are live versus roadmap. Ours: Google Workspace is live; Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, Salesforce, HubSpot, Jira and Zendesk are in build and labelled as such on every page.
