We only collect what we need to run the service. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Legal bases
- Contract — to create your account and provide the service you signed up for.
- Consent — for newsletters and optional cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve our product.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep records, for example for tax or security incidents.
4. Cookies
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept optional cookies. Essential cookies and equivalent browser storage are always used because sign-in cannot work without them.

5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the product, under contracts that limit them to our instructions:
- Hosting and application infrastructure
- Database, authentication and storage providers
- Email delivery for account and product-update messages
- Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account
We may also disclose data where legally required, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we will tell you first.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens we rely on recognised transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Security
Data is transmitted over TLS and stored with access controls so that your account records are only readable by you and by staff who need access to support you. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it elsewhere. You can also unsubscribe from marketing email at any time. Email privacy@orqana.ai and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
Orqana AI is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
